The Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Benue State hereby invites competent contractors to bid for the Year 2015/2016 (Merged) Annual Intervention Projects.

3.0 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory Requirements (Original Documents must be presented for sighting)
a) Evidence of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
b) Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the past 3 years i.e. 2014, 2015 and 2016.
c) Evidence of Compliance with PENCOM requirement.
d) Evidence of Compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) requirement.
a) List of similar and verifiable projects successfully executed by your company with locations, letters of award, completion certificates within the last 5 years.
b) Company resume.
c) List and qualification/CV and certificates of your staff who will execute the project.
d) Bank reference letter/Bank support showing evidence of financial capability to execute the contract.
e) Evidence of Remittance of Value Added Tax (VAT).

5.0 SUBMISSION OF BIDS
Technical and Financial Bids shall be submitted in two different sealed envelopes labeled “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid” respectively, with the company’s name indicated on each Bid and at the back of each envelope. Both envelopes should be sealed and placed in a third envelope marked with the Name and Lot Number bided for, at the top right hand corner and the company’s name indicated at the back of the envelope and addressed to:

5.1 The closing date for submission of Bids is 12:00 noon, six (6) weeks from the date of this publication.
6.0 OPENING OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
The Technical Bids shall be opened immediately after 12:00 noon, Monday, 16th April, 2018, in the Polytechnic’s Council Hall. All bidders are expected to attend. Interested Members of the Public and Private sector Professionals in the Construction Industries, Non-Governmental Organizations and Journalist are invited to witness the opening of the bids.
Only bidder who’s Technical Bids fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements will have their financial Bids considered.
The Polytechnic is neither obliged to shortlist any contractor or to award the Contract to any Contractor or his Agent.
The Polytechnic reserves the right to reject any bid.
The polytechnic will not enter into any form of correspondence with bidding Contractor.
The Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo,
a) The participation in the Tender Process does not guarantee any person the right to be selected or awarded any contract.
b) That this advertisement for invitation for tender should neither be misconstrued as commitment on the part of the Polytechnic, nor should it entitle any contractor or any firm to make claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the Polytechnic.
c) The University reserves the right to reject any submission made or terminate the selection process at any time without any liability to the Polytechnic.
d) Any document(s) submitted after the closing time and date shall not be considered.
e) If at any time during the tender process, it is discovered that a claim made by any contractor is false, the Contractor will automatically be disqualified.
